Angled Wave

Following dream took place about two years ago but I remember it vividly, It only really comprises of one part but in the first I died.

First thing I remember was being in a certain area of my city (Ferrymead, Christchurch) to be exact. It was daytime and I was doing some shopping at a nearby boat store (I'm not rich in reality so I have no idea what I was doing in search of a boat). After sticking around for a while I decided to walk outside, then get in a van which I had at the time.

The sky was blue with a few clouds about, a nice sunny day just perfect all around. The van was parked in a empty lot, maybe approximately 600m2 (The area now is a small shopping centre). As I got in the Van I saw a massive mushroom cloud from what would've been a nuclear bomb going off just outside the city.

I wasn't sure what to do...would I run? or try drive off? Either way I thought I was going to die. I ended up getting out of the van and just running to a certain point then turning around looking at the blastwave. As it hit me everything went blank as if I died.

When I opened my eyes or awoke into this new world I was surrounded by trees and cliffs in a small narrow canyon kind of area. As I wandered further into the canyon I came into a big open area with platforms at all different angles, there were also houses surrounding these platforms all funny shaped buildings joined together at 90 degree angles and all sorts of different angles. It was very strange.

Sorry for the short dream but thats the most memorable one of that year. I'll add more details later I'm just in a rush at the moment.
